hey zhaodi, i absolutely luv ��! i can't explain why but everytime i hear this song, the music and the lyrics touch me alot. I am way passed 22 now but somehow I love this song alot....perhaps you guys can listen to it one more time and feedback if you feel the same about this song too!

sometimes when i really miss david....i will watch the ultrasound dvd again and again....the dvd reminds me of the hardships that david go thru' everytime he produces an album....i think everyone who is a fan of david...or anyone who wants to understand more about the makings of an album should watch that. its really informative and after all that, you will start to understand why it takes him such a long time to come up with something new. perhaps you will also then start to understand more about what he wrote in his previous messages to fans....

Hmmmm....if u like his Ultrasound dvd so much maybe can review for us in the Profile section. Sumtimes it nice to write out yr thoughts & feelings abt things that affect you. Actually I haf mixed feelings abt this docu as not sure the purpose of his filming it. At first I thought its somewhat self-serving but then quite a few fans like yourself seemed affected by it. So it will be nice to haf alternative view as this dvd did not sell vry well prolly cos a lot of ppl felt like I did.

i dont think that david's dvd was meant to be 'self serving' when i met david durin his autograph session for ultrasound last year or was it a television interview?? *blur. Anyway david was telling all his fans that the docu was meant to allow his fans to catch a glimpse of what his music making process is like... yup.. and he said that there werent many gd music doucumentaries out there in the market.. so he made one to share his experience with is fans.. :) dunno if it sold well, but if it didnt also mayb didnt have massive publicity.. mayb ppl dun know it exists.. x) i havent watched it myself.. must save $ first.. haha..

i agree with you missred....you see sometimes i think people like us would love to know the 'behind the scenes' story and it is especially appropriate for david to produce something like that as he is such a highly respected producer and musician. i chance upon the dvd too....didn't know it exists until i saw it on the shelf. i think you need to watch it with an open mind....i didn't know what to expect too....i thought it was a movie or something along that line but after i watched it i never regret buying....its a pity that they don't do much publicity for this dvd....we should always support good productions

thanx mercuria & missred for yr comments. I do enjoy watching it & knowing more abt David but just felt it was more for diehard fans than non David fans. I thought it will have been better if it was more abt the making of Black Tangerine than abt himself. Just my opinion.

hey zhaodi....i do agree that if the focus is on making the album, it will appeal more to non david fans. but you see david is someone whom does most of the things himself....thus it will inevitably cover some of his personal life. it is thru his personal experiences that he came up with the idea to write his songs....

i do appreciate the fact that the album covers people like wa wa jie, andrew etc as it gives us more insights into how they play a part in the album which we always tend to forget as the focus is always on daivd himself. i think david would want that as well as he always credits their effort in his write-ups on the album.

anyway thanks for the exchange of views....it is great to have discussions like this....i always enjoy that!

my goodness!! talking to you guys really kills my pocket!!! now i wanna buy the ultrasound vcd too!!!!!! mercuria!!! ur fault la!! make it sound even more interesting than i thot that it was!!! since i've got 5 of his albums already n didnt wanna spend so much $.. okok.. so now which shud i buy first??!!! concert vcd or this?

but i really wanna know who wa wa jie is.. since she's worked with him since the 1st album n she's done the lyrics for many of his songs rite!! but i know andrew frm black tangerine album n in the concert... so, the plan now is to SAVE MONEY!!!!!

but you may not find the ultrasound vcd in the market already...jus went to the shop where i got mine to check it out for you and they have no stock left lor! think the only way is that hopefully we can organise some gathering for all DT fans in this forum then we can all watch the vcd together and chit chat about david all night long!!!

wa wa jie is a really talented person herself....think she did launch her own album many years back...for those of you who are my age you would know hee hee! correct me if i am wrong but i think she is the same wa wa jie. she really gain weight already lor so i dun recognise her anymore....she used to be quite slim and i still have a copy of that mtv...a really nice song! its 'piao yang kuo hai lai kan ni'. she gave us a different insight of david...and you can see them debating about the lyrics over the phone in the show which was really funny...

oh plse plse plse pretty plse mercuria, could u plse tell us more abt Wah Wah cos I haf been trying to find info abt her to post @ my blog cos think she is vry important part of David's career. But so far not much & I haf nvr heard of her b4, only know she writes 4 many taiwanese artists like Alex To & Sarah Chen.

hey zhaodi...i hope she is the same wa wa that i know many years back....cos she really look very different now so i am not 100% sure....ok that wa wa i spoke about used to write songs for many singers back then. and then she launch one album herself...which is 'piao yang kuo hai lai kan ni' and it was a great hit back then. her voice is quite unique....can you teach me how to copy the file from the cd and post it here? then i can copy the mtv for you guys to see. i am not very IT savy leh so i need someone to guide me. email me at mercuria@singnet.com.sg. she looked really pretty back then but now she put on alot of weight

ok zhaodi, confirmed that wa wa jie is the same one that i mentioned. another of her hit song is 'da yu'. i actually copied 2 album covers that shows her pics when she was much younger but i dunno how to copy...so u got to teach me how to do it....me abit dumb...only know how to cut and paste. too chim one i duno!
