i am no fan of F4 or Da S but the story really touched me alot....
this story is about an autistic girl Qiluo (Da S) and this playboy in campus Ling (Zai Zai), how they met and changed each other's life. Qiluo was raped by her step dad when she was 16 years old and since then became a withdrawn girl who doesn't have any frens in school and is very afraid of guys. Her only interest is to draw....and it was her drawing of a mother and child that touched Ling and brought them together. Ling is a rebellious guy who doesn't have a care about anything except to his love for racing. His mother died when he was really young and it was Qiluo's drawing that reminded him of his dead mother.
Then there comes the usual ups and downs in the progress of the relationship as in most drama series. It was only when Ling saved Qiluo from her stepdad and gave up his racing in exchange for his father to save her that touched her and she decided to entrust herself to him. Knowing that Ling's heart is always on the racing tracks, she beg his father to let him return to the tracks, despite knowing that he may lose his life anytime during racing.
The story ends with Ling being assassinated just before their wedding night. When he's in the hospital struggling for his life, Qiluo saw the soul of Ling's twin brother, Shen, also acted by Zai Zai, who died committing suicide when he was 16 years old. As expected, he came to bring Ling's soul so that they can be forever in the other world.....
As usual, let's keep you in suspense about the ending....i like this show cos i think the 2 co-stars did a great job in this show, in addition to the story. their acting skills have certainly improved alot since their meteor garden days and their on screen chemistry is something worth catching. the story is more matured compared to meteor garden, it reflects the cruel aspects of life....and the director is same one as meteor garden. this time the director himself actually plays a role in the drama as a cop and he himself appeared in quite a number scenes. The show is still on every Thur and Fri 7pm or repeat telecast 11am Sat on Channel 56, Cable TV. Recommend that you guys watch it...i really like the story....perhaps we can then discuss and comment in the forum if you like the show too. Enjoy......
hey zhaodi.....it is indeed a really nice show so dun miss it. the plot is so much better than most other drama series cos it discusses issues like rape, school bullies, family relationships etc which reflects the realistic aspects of our society today. the show really touched me alot and i hope it will touch you too! looking forward to discussing more about the show with you.....
