Synopsis:

After coming back from a trip to China that her friends paid for, Han Ji Eun finds out that they did so only to sell her house while she was away. She returns and finds that the new owner of the house is none other than famous actor Lee Young Jae, whom she happened to meet on her trip. Circumstances bring Young Jae and Ji Eun into a marriage by contract, making them appear as a couple to the public. Under the terms of the contract, they will be married for 6 months while Ji Eun does all the housework. After 6 months, she will get the house back. Ji Eun finds herself falling for Young Jae, but he loves his childhood friend, Hae Won. Young Jae’s friend, Min Hyuk, also shows an interest in Ji Eun. Many interesting and amusing things happen to this “couple” throughout their married life that bring them closer together, but will they really become a couple?

Lee Young-jae (Justin Lee) - Rain (Bi)

The straight talking actor is Asia's man of the moment. A strong sense of pride combined with a difficulty in expressing his true emotions results in many misunderstandings. In the beginning of the miniseries, he seems to be head over heals for Kang Hye-won; however, he eventually ends up falling for Han Ji-eun.

Kang Hye-won (Lorraine) - Han Eun- jung

Fashion designer Gang Hye-won has been friendly with Lee Young-jae and Yu Min- heok since childhood. Beautiful, accomplished and from a good family, she is every mans’ dream. She is very greedy when it comes to love. At first, she liked Min-heok, but later, after seeing Young-jae with another girl, she began to develop feelings for him.

Yu Min-heok (Luigi) - Kim Sung Soo

Working in management for a large media firm, Yu Min-heok is the ideal man to date. He is well mannered, a conversationalist, good looking and wealthy. He is kind-hearted, but at times can be cold and calculated. He cannot stand losing and will not give up until he has Ji- eun's love.

Young-Jae 's Grandmother - Kim Ji Young

She wants to make an impression to Han Ji-eun, thus she tries to be strict and would like to appear to be someone she can look up to. She is very fond of her and as well as her grandson.

Ms. Kim (Young-Jae's Mother - Sun Woo Eun Sook

She is very fond of Ha Ji-eun and is thankful that she is around that helps Young-Jae to again communicate with his father. She is very understanding and in cahoots with the grandma Lee when it comes to Young-Jae (referring to the wedding ceremony).

Mr. Lee (Young-jae's dad) - Jang Yong

He might seem strict and cold, but deep inside he feels for his son and Han Ji-eun. He wants Young-Jae to finish his degree for medecine. He and Young-jae, clash a lot thus making their relationship in a conflict.

Dong-Wook & He-jin - Do Han and Lee Young Eun

They are bestfriends with Ji-eun, for fifteen years. Unfortunate fate befalls them of having them decide to con their bestfriend out of her house. Most of the time, they are trying to make money and always accidentally spills out information, that cause trouble for their bestfriend and Young-Jae.

Young-Jae's Manager

She is Young-Jae's manager who is very conscious about preserving Young-jae's career. She wants whats best for him.
