Last night I had a dream Walking in the Sahara Desert Without a soul Only myself standing under the hot sun It's 66.6 degrees, almost melting my eyeballs Suddenly there was heavy rainfall My sweat washed away by the rain Ending 40 days of torture The desert has become an oasis Under the rainbow there's a big tree Under the big tree there's an apple After one bite, I have enlightment Now am I able to go back? Can I go back again to that paradise To find myself? To find myself? (Chorus) Wah la la la heaven is raining Wah la la la clouds are weeping Wah la la la dripping into my heart oh yeah Please don't say I am thinking nonsense No need to tell me I am only daydreaming Wah la la la let me drenched myself in rain oh yeah I only hope I am able to return I am able to return once more To those beautiful times to find myself
Stuck in a bus like a row of sardines To and from work everyday like a routine All these people, where are they going? All their faces written with resignation Fathers and mothers no longer in love Don't tell me this is the meaning of life Now am I able to go back? Can I go back once more to that paradise To hide myself? To hide myself? (Chorus) Wah la la la heaven is raining Wah la la la clouds are weeping Wah la la la dripping into my heart oh yeah Please don't say I am thinking nonsense No need to tell me I am only daydreaming Wah la la la let me drenched myself in rain oh yeah I only hope I am able to return I am able to return once more To those beautiful times to find myself
Hiding under the roof in my home oh Sleeping inside my blanket oh Listening to the sound of the rain Di di da da di di da da di di da da Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Wah la la la heaven is raining Wah la la la clouds are weeping Wah la la la dripping into my heart Please don't say I am thinking nonsense No need to tell me I am only daydreaming Wah la la la let me drenched myself in rain I only hope I am able to return I am able to return once more To those beautiful times To find back myself

Hmmm......sumone pointed out to me 66.6 degrees, 666 is the sign of the devil or the beast. More here http://www.av1611.org/666/opinion.html, David's lyrics always so mysterious & full of double meaning I find
I think this whole song is a Christian song- with the 40 days in the desert, apple, and the rain....
Well, I love this song! Recently, I heard a testimony comparing God to a glass of water in the middle of the desert. The guy said that if we accept God into our lives, then our heart (the desert) will turn into an beautiful oasis. This analogy the guy used was so similar David's "Rain," that I started laughing out loud in the middle of the testimony, because I finally understood "Rain."
