does anyone know whether his soul power dvd/vcd is good/?? but then again all david's stuff is gd yea/?? :) whats the diff between dvd n vcd?? or isit the same besides the price?? hahha.. do u get to see the part where he gives his female fan a kiss?? *jealous lol.. i already have his soulpower cd... all the songs in there are all given a new 'face lift' or bian qu.. if i'm not wrong in the musical terms.. its v nice.. esp the song everything's gone.. can melt ur heart.. sighs.. haha.. reminds me of the real night of the concert itself... and david's super cute actions.. hahha.
hey missred, think you should get the dvd version as the sound quality is much better....and the pics also clearer. the diff in $ terms is not much thus it is definitely value for money! if you have a really nice sound system setup at home with a big television screen, the effect is excellent....feels like the 'live' concert experience again! dun buy the export version thou....the quality not very good....you will be disappointed! silly me actually bought both cos the cover looks different so thought it was another album....the export version also has one track missing.

hey missred...ya i sometimes abit blur....but its good cos i am then able to share with you guys my experiences! recently the 'export' market brought in a 'yue zhi lu' karaoke vcd with a compilation of some of david's mtv....all original. it comprises of 2 discs with some of the tracks from album 1 and 2 and mostly from black tangerine. the cover is of david wearing an orange shirt. i would strongly recommend you guys to buy....if you dun mind its export....but it is original. dun get the wrong one cos its only available in vcd version. there's another one with the same cover pic with some tracks belonging to other singers....that has showcase of david attending some gathering with fans in china so that's not original mtv. of course if you are a die-hard fan then you may want to get both.
the one that i recommend has tracks like angel, melody, moon over my heart, 22, my anata, kung pao chicken and of course black tangerine. its selling at quite a reasonable price....and the fact that it is all original mtvs of songs from the third album which i think most of us would loved to have a copy cos the songs are simply fantastic.
so you see missred...i again blur blur and bought both....that's why i can tell you which one to buy so you guys can save some money mah!

(can post a pic of the vcd cover here?? easier to identify if convenient) and what does "export" mean?? are they the cds/vcds those from china that's supposed to be original but sold for ten dollars or less?? have seen these so called originals frm china that sell for half the prices of the s'pore ones..
many cds shops in s'pore sell both.. which, i find kinda dumb.. cos they're like contradicting themselves rite?? who wud wanna buy the s'pore real ones that r double the price of the china ones?? enlighten me on this okies!

hee hee missred u r rite about the definition of export....actually u can't tell if they r local or china version cos sometimes the cover looks the same. but the only thing i feel is good about exports is that sometimes the china versions seem to have launch more albums that we can't find here but some weird ones like the dvd i said with david's karaoke songs but actually extracted from some fans gathering he appeared on china tv. anyway that vcd i spoke about, its available in carrefour retailing at $5.90 only! ok once i get my hands on a scanner...i will scan the cover for you all to refer

hey nlayhua some of the mvs are extracted from the soul power dvd...if i remember correctly, 22 and kung pao chicken are from the concert. for me i luv this vcd cos it has mtv from album three which i dun have and would loved to keep. tracks like melody, angel, my anata etc which officially the local market never launch. esp for melody where you can hear david talking at the beginning and end of the mtv about his feelings...its very touching....you can see that he has some regrets....sob sob ! there are also songs from the ultrasound album, runaway and 'ji mo de ji jie'.
careful guys....its only available in vcd...the dvd version which has the same cover is not the same one that i recommend. and always remember the dvd version has songs from other singers like hu yan ping. so dun buy the wrong one ok? carrefour has both but jus be careful. hope you guys enjoy this vcd as much as i do!

hey zhaodi...yes the dvd has david on the cover...in fact it is the same pic of david in the export vcd...i mean taken at the same time jus diff expression. you may want to buy if u jus want to keep cos david performs live at some fan club gathering so its still worth keeping considering its not very expensive....
