David's 3rd karaoke vcd, great value cos it haf all David's mvs cept Bastard, Shanghaied, Let's fall in love, Brilliant Alive & original Close to you. Plus I Believe, 1997's I Love You live version, as well My Anata. Melody & Season of Loneliness which nvr released b4. Oso forgot to mentioned 22 & Everything's gone r mv version not just live footage.
As fei haf pointed out @ my blog, this is parallel import from China but its not illegal to sell or buy, however it does affect the local music retail market. So its up yr own discretion whether or not to buy, but since its only available in China release then it dun actually affect David's sales in Singapore. Oso think its an original release with the knowledge of EMI & ecentury.
i agree with zhaodi from her blog that all copyrights still go back to david...my stand on this is as such....if there's a local version available, i will purchase the local version. but in this case, the local version did not launch this album...and the mtvs complied here is a must have for anyone who loves david and his creations...thus why not??

alas my worst fears are comfirmed I CANT FIND THE ULTRASOUND DOCU ANYWHERE!!! seriously!! tried like poh kim, TS, sembawang music, audiophile and CD rama!! but ALL DONT HAVE!!! i'm so sway!!! i;ve got no time to go down to suntec for the orange vcd yet.. didnt see it in TS either!! :( haiya!!! so sad!!!! if anyone spots the docu, pls tell me IMMEDIATELY k!!! thanks alot ya!!!! thanks so mercuria too! for keeping us updated on the latest mechandise david has.. haha.. u're pretty fast must be go n check it out almost everyday huh.. i must hurry to get mine soon!!
hey missred, you won't find it in sembawang, cd rama etc cos they don't sell imports. you can find from TS...they are the ones that brought in the imports. Try those smaller shops....i know at suntec city there's a few shops along the way to carrefour that sells imports too....forgot the shop name....so you should really make a trip down. you can also try arts brothers and laser flair....there's one pretty big laser flair at funan. they may hav it there. i am not fast...its jus that i stay in the west where all these shops exists....so i always go there and check out any new karaoke discs!
sorry missred...i mean the orange vcd in my earlier message. for the doc, try all the cd rama outlets. i got mine from jurong point few months back but now out of stock already....

zhaodi, if u want to buy the orange dvd better get it soon. cos the karaoke vcd has been all snapped out...just went to check it out today at a few places and there's no more stock left. orange dvd still available at arts brothers, 3rd level at jurong point shopping centre. if its not too far for you, you may want to get it there. all the best!
since this is an export version from China, i'm wondering if the Region affects?? I bought the DVD yesterday, can't play it on my dvd player (verified player ok) ... but can play on laptop.... i'm not very familiar with the DVD regions and all... anybody have any advice?? btw, i'm from msia, bought it from speedy mid valley
anyhow i'll go back to the shop today to get a replacement, hopefully can play on my dvd player + laptop
hi kabuki, welcome on board! not sure if my advice would help....but i jus want to check, is your dvd player multi-code? you see dvd has been classified into various codes like code 3, code 9 etc and if this player you have been using is an older version, it usually only allows you to play dvd from a particular code. the newer ones in the market is multi-coded so they can play various codes of dvd. this dvd you have jus bought could be a code 9 dvd which your player doesn't support. does it makes sense?
HELLO EVERYONE!!!! i have bought my very own orange shirt vcd!!! hhahaa.. i am a very happy girl!!! but wait.. gt jus one question, in my vcd, the leave mv is david n this girl separated by this glass wall thing.. no stury about any chauffer at all!!!!! why??!!! did i get the wrong one? or is mine pirated? i bought it at 10 bucks.. the mv for everything's gone is some images frm soul power... on this tacky cube animation ting.. hahha.. no offense k.. wud have jus prefered a normal view of the images.. can someone lemme know abt the leave MV thanks.. and if really aint the original then how do i get to see the original one?? and plus.. hhah.. noticed that david grew a little cute stubble on his chin!! lol.. makes him look more manly??

hi folks...the dvd version of this karaoke vcd is out. selling at $10 at laser flair (but must buy 2 disc, 2 for $20). so if u hav not gotten a copy, you might want to consider the dvd version. actually both the same except that dvd has better quality and all the tracks are contained in 1 disc instead of 2 in the vcd version.
Oh thx again mercuria just so ppl dun get confused. Now there r both vcd & dvd version of Ultrasound karaoke compliation which haf his original mvs.
This dvd which haf a slightly diff pix of David in orange shirt haf no original mvs but sum live versions of his fan gatherings in China as well as live footage.

I managed to grab a DVD copy of this; yeh, Tao Zhe with the orangy shirt. YES!!
However, the DVD has a Region Code 5, which should not be a problem as the shop staff was telling me IF your DVD player is "multi-code". Hmm, since I don't have one, I'll play the DVD on my PC. Will tell ya guys soon if it is just as good.
The previous reviews I read about this makes me very eager to start on the DVD.
