What is your favourite songs in the great leap album? Post here if you have more than 1 songs. Maybe can tell us why you like it etc..My favourite have to be love can(it is such a sweet song.), susan said(like the opera part where david sang it.) and song for anita(a touching song, remind me of anita mui).
I have only just discovered David Tao with the song Jiu shi ai ni and I think even when I have downloaded and listened to the album it will still be my favourite song of his...I think it's one of my favourite ever. Such a beautiful voice..
I guess there r a couple of tracks that r more recognisable than the rest like Susan Said & Love Can.. but all tracks r good~ very well arrange I listen to all track non-stop & still won't get bored.. maybe not with 'Ghost [overture]' coz I can't seem to breath well~ [it's that effective!!]
Susan's Said is the ong which got me hooked onto TGL, so it'll be among my favourites. I think the album's pleasing to the ear as a whole, although it wasn't pleasant to listen to Ghost (overture) in the middle of the night while rushing homework.
Hi...Bernard here...As for me...i love all the tracks but there a few that i love very much...i like Love Can (very nice song), Who Do You Love (a meaningful and lovely song), Susan Said (love the song becos hav opera and music together) and Fated (another nice song that i like)
first sampled (listened to) david's songs when i was rummaging through my friend's comp in search of nice chinese songs and stumbled upon david's 'i believe' and 'runaway' and fell in love with those song upon my first hearing! such an inspiring song... Then, a few weeks later, had a hands on encounter with david's songs when i attended david's showcase at sunway surf beach. friend of mine got free tix through a hotlink contest and i tagged along. And from the moment i listened to david's songs that night, there's no turning back! he is SO GOOD! such a great voice and talent! ^^ all of his songs portray a story behind it and all are EQUALLY good! BUT, i do have a few favourites...namely, art of war and susan said. come on, who would have thought of incorporating both opera and rap into a song! =) wow, really in awe that there is such talent in the chinese music industry. will be getting his previous albums soon too...hehe
Actually, all the songs are my favourites. But I think the song I like best would be Ghost. I never really listened to rock songs what more to say a song as rock as Ghost. But after listening to Black Tangerine (the song) I sort of fell in love with these loud songs. Well, only David's. David's rock songs are so energetic and so full of meaning. There's no need to actually understand the lyrics to know what he is singing about or to understand the message in it. Althought I'm very much like Zhaodi, keep on listening to the whole CD, they are some times when I keep on replaying Ghost and assaulting my ears with the heavy strums of the guitars. So, my vote goes to Ghost.
