In the 15-minute segment, David talked about 2 of his own compositions in his new album The Great Leap, and one of them was Susan Said. He mentioned that many might have dismissed the song as another song that has both western and eastern elements in it, and would appear in every DT album. But the difference was, when he came up with the tune of the song, he realized that it sounded similar to Peking opera, and brings out the feeling of nostalgia. He then went on to introduce 2 English songs, “imagine” by John Lennon and “Georgia” by Ray Charles. The former wrote most of his songs on love and peace, and “imagine” speaks a lot about how people use love to resolve their differences. “Ray Charles” was an R & B sensation in the past and “Georgia” was a pretty song which gives people a soothing feel.
